What's In the Name?

When choosing the name we wanted most for our little blog, we wanted something feminine and symbolic. We wanted something that would symbolize depression without being too dark. And so, we came up with The Desert Daisies. We are women who survive in the most desolate of places, looking lovely and graceful as we do it. Mental illness is a scary place, but with our unity, our support, our awareness… We can make it beautiful.
